KATSEYE hosted an immersive listening event for their forthcoming EP WILD<\/em> at Elsewhere<\/a> in Brooklyn on Tuesday, drawing more than 400 fans, known as EYEKONS.<\/p>\n

The event, presented by Spotify<\/a>, transformed the venue into KLUB KATSEYE<\/a> for the night, featuring interactive experiences and a live performance. The setlist included \u201cPINKY UP,\u201d \u201cAnimal,\u201d and the live debut of \u201cThat Way,\u201d followed by fan favorites \u201cGnarly\u201d and \u201cGabriela,\u201d which prompted a full-room sing-along.<\/p>\n

In an interview, the group shared the tracks that shaped the EP\u2019s sound:<\/p>\n

  • \u201cFeel It Still\u201d by Portugal. The Man<\/li>\n
  • \u201cNever Be the Same\u201d by Camila Cabello<\/li>\n
  • \u201cDon\u2019t Cha\u201d by The Pussycat Dolls<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    They also cited Britney Spears\u2019 \u201cI\u2019m a Slave 4 U\u201d as a key influence on the music video for \u201cHootie Frutti.\u201d When asked which song best represents their artistic evolution, the members pointed to \u201cThat Way.\u201d<\/p>\n

    KATSEYE\u2019s new EP WILD<\/em> is set for release on August 14 and is available for pre-save.
