{"id":20032,"date":"2026-09-11T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-09-11T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/interspacemusic.com\/blog\/andreea-gleeson-appointed-beatbread-chief-executive\/"},"modified":"2026-09-11T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2026-09-11T00:00:00","slug":"andreea-gleeson-appointed-beatbread-chief-executive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/interspacemusic.com\/blog\/andreea-gleeson-appointed-beatbread-chief-executive\/","title":{"rendered":"Andreea Gleeson Appointed beatBread Chief Executive"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Andreea Gleeson<\/strong>, former Chief Executive Officer of <strong>TuneCore<\/strong>, has been named Chief Executive Officer of music funding platform <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beatbread.com\"><strong>beatBread<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Gleeson&#8217;s initial priorities include expanding beatBread&#8217;s presence outside the United States, strengthening partnerships with <a href=\"https:\/\/interspacemusic.com\/blog\/jeff-stempeck-appointed-vp-of-ar-and-label-partnerships-at-stem\/\">distributors and labels<\/a>, and developing its <a href=\"https:\/\/interspacemusic.com\/blog\/spencer-leboff-appointed-head-of-revenue-at-pipeline\/\">underwriting capabilities<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>She joined TuneCore in 2015 and became its CEO in 2021. Gleeson left the company in January 2025 and later founded <strong>AGA (Andreea Gleeson Advisory)<\/strong>, which advises companies and investors across music, media, and technology.<\/p>\n<p>She succeeds <strong>Tracy Maddux<\/strong>, who has led beatBread on an interim basis since November 2025 following the death of co-founder and CEO <strong>Peter Sinclair<\/strong> in August 2025. Maddux, a long-term advisor to beatBread&#8217;s board, will remain involved during the transition.<\/p>\n<p>Since its launch in 2020, beatBread reports it has provided more than <strong>USD $100 million<\/strong> in advances to over <strong>2,000 artists and labels<\/strong> across <strong>42 countries<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Gleeson said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI\u2019ve spent much of my career focused on what independent artists will need next, and access to better capital on artist-friendly terms is one of the most important opportunities ahead.
