Financial terms and the exact ownership split were not disclosed.<\/p>\n<p>The New York City-headquartered company has acquired a stake in the late singer-songwriter&#8217;s compositional and recorded intellectual property (IP). Palmer, the former Vinegar Joe member known for &#8220;Addicted to Love,&#8221; released 14 solo studio albums from <em>Sneakin&#8217; Sally Through the Alley<\/em> (1974) through <em>Drive<\/em> (2003) before his death in 2003.<\/p>\n<h2>What the Agreement Covers<\/h2>\n<p>The deal spans Palmer&#8217;s full solo album catalog and additional recordings. Included works and rights are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;Johnny and Mary&#8221; from the 1980 album <em>Clues<\/em><\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Every Kinda People,&#8221; written by Andy Fraser<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Simply Irresistible,&#8221; written and produced by Palmer<\/li>\n<li>Multiple live renditions and remixes<\/li>\n<li>A piece of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weirdal.com\">&#8220;Weird Al&#8221; Yankovic<\/a>&#8216;s parody &#8220;Addicted to Spuds&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Talking Heads&#8217; <em>Remain in Light<\/em> (1980), where Palmer contributed additional percussion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Estate and Company Statements<\/h2>\n<p>The Palmer estate said: &#8220;We are very excited to partner with Primary Wave. around the world.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2>Recent Catalog Moves<\/h2>\n<p>Earlier in September, after closing its $2.2 billion fourth fund in late April, Primary Wave announced separate partnership agreements with the estate of <a href=\"https:\/\/interspacemusic.com\/blog\/primary-wave-partners-with-wilson-pickett-estate\/\"><strong>Wilson Pickett<\/strong><\/a> and <strong>Savage Garden<\/strong>&#8216;s <a href=\"https:\/\/interspacemusic.com\/blog\/primary-wave-partners-on-daniel-jones-catalog-deal\/\"><strong>Daniel Jones<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, <strong>HarbourView<\/strong> recently invested in producer <strong>David Kershenbaum<\/strong>&#8216;s IP, and <strong>MNRK<\/strong> last week purchased the &#8220;complete&#8221; recorded catalog of <strong>Black Label
