Unlike some of Pophouse&#8217;s other recent acquisitions, this one does not include her name, image and likeness (NIL) rights.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Sia: \u201cI\u2019m really excited to be working with Pophouse. These songs mean so much to me, and I love that they really understand that and want to take care of them. I\u2019ve been making music for a very long time now, and it feels exciting to think about all the new and different ways these songs might get to live on and find people. I\u2019m really looking forward to seeing what we can dream up together.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2>What the divorce filings show<\/h2>\n<p>Legal filings from Sia&#8217;s recent divorce put numbers on the split. She will receive $165 million for songs written before the marriage, while her ex-husband, Dan Bernad, waived all rights to that portion in exchange for $1 million under the post-nuptial terms. The remaining $15 million, representing music created during the marriage of under three years, is held in escrow pending a final settlement between the two.<\/p>\n<h2>The catalog<\/h2>\n<p>The catalog carries multi-billion streaming totals on Spotify, led by \u201cTitanium,\u201d her collaboration with David Guetta. Other hits include \u201cUnstoppable,\u201d \u201cChandelier,\u201d \u201cCheap Thrills\u201d and \u201cDusk Till Dawn.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Pophouse&#8217;s track record<\/h2>\n<p>Co-founded by ABBA&#8217;s Bj\u00f6rn Ulvaeus, Pophouse has experience building digital artist experiences and was a founding investor in the 2022 ABBA Voyage virtual residency in London. Its debut fund closed in March 2025 at a \u20ac1 billion hard cap and reached more than \u20ac1.2 billion with additional co-investment vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>The Sia deal is Pophouse&#8217;s third major catalog investment of 2026, after buying publishing, master and NIL rights for both Iron Maiden and Tina Turner. In 2024 the company also acquired rights to KISS to develop a Las Vegas avatar show. Executives <strong>Jessica Koravos<\/strong> and <strong>Shahriar Shokofan<\/strong> said the partnership aims to develop new creative ventures and bring the catalog to new global audiences.
