Chelsea Fodero and Mak Symmonds will work across the current roster and incoming clients

Activist Artists Management has just announced that Chelsea Fodero and Mak Symmonds are joining the team as Artist Managers. Both have worked across global touring, artist development, marketing, and brand partnerships. Fodero will be based in New York, while Symmonds will split time between Nashville and Los Angeles.

Fodero has worked in management for 15 years, recently serving as day-to-day manager for Usher during his sold-out Past Present Future World Tour.

She’s also worked with Alicia Keys, Mac Miller, and GRAMMY Award-winning producer Andrew Watt.

Symmonds has close to 10 years of management experience.

Prior to Activist, she was Marketing Director for Nashville-based music company SMACK.

She has also helped manage Chris Tomlin, Patrick Droney, and Redferrin.

Fodero: “I’ve spent my career in not only the day-to-day logistics but also the large scale operations of every aspect of an artist’s career, and I’ve learned that the biggest moments, whether it’s a sold-out tour, a GRAMMY stage or a global campaign, are built on hundreds of small decisions made well. Activist has a reputation for putting artists first and thinking long-term, and that’s the kind of management I believe in. I’m excited to bring everything I’ve learned to this team and help artists build careers that are as sustainable as they are ambitious.”

Symmonds: “I’ve always believed some of the best careers are built on real relationships with artists, with fans and with the communities they serve. Over the years, the moments I’m proudest of are the ones where an artist creates something that lasts, on stage and off, and that’s exactly the work I’m excited to keep doing. Activist builds for the long haul, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to join a team that cares this deeply about artists.”

This article was written from a press release provided by Activist.

Activist Artists Management has hired industry veterans Chelsea Fodero and Mak Symmonds as Artist Managers, bringing extensive global touring experience.
"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false
"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[513

post-20889","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-careers-people","cs-entry","cs-video-wrap
