Each has since been converted for other uses.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>China Chalet<\/strong>: now a food court and arcade<\/li>\n<li><strong>Stalag 13<\/strong>: now a bodybuilding gym<\/li>\n<li><strong>London Fog<\/strong>: now a barber shop<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Episode 2: Stalag 13<\/h2>\n<p>The second episode is available now and centers on Stalag 13. Between 1996 and 1999, the Philadelphia room hosted <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Refused\">Refused<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Dillinger_Escape_Plan\">Dillinger Escape Plan<\/a><\/strong>, and <strong>Limp Wrist<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Named after the fictional POW camp in <em>Hogan\u2019s Heroes<\/em>, Stalag 13 was part of a row of warehouse venues that included the Fake House and Killtime. It had almost no infrastructure: bands played on the floor, surrounded by the crowd. A wider culture of self-organized events, flyers, and fanzines operated around the music.<\/p>\n<p>For one final performance, the space became a venue again. Marshall brought <strong>Sweet Pill<\/strong> to perform in the room that is now a gym.<\/p>\n<h2>Amplify funding<\/h2>\n<p>Through its <strong>Amplify<\/strong> membership program, Marshall directs 1% of qualifying online purchases toward grassroots spaces, funding backline equipment, shows, and longer-term partnerships.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Marshall&#8217;s limited
