Warner Music Group (WMG) <\/strong>has expanded its Middle East and North Africa (MENA) team with two new senior-level hires. Ahmed Nureni<\/strong> has been promoted to Managing Director, MENA, and Ahmad Alghawanmeh<\/strong> has come on as General Manager, MENA.<\/p>\n Nureni will report to the President of EMEA, Recorded Music, Guillermo Gonzalez<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Nureni will be in charge of MENA\u2019s \u201coverarching vision, corporate development, strategic joint ventures, and catalog expansion across all markets,\u201d including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Morocco.<\/p>\n Alghawanmeh joins WMG following a turn at Sony Music Entertainment<\/strong>, most recently serving as Vice President, Revenue & Growth Strategy.<\/p>\n His role at WMG will focus more on business goals.<\/p>\n WMG\u2019s independent label and artist services department, ADA, <\/strong>absorbed Qanawat Music<\/strong>, a major distributor in the MENA region, in 2022.<\/p>\n This move brought Nureni to WMG as General Manager of Warner Music MENA.<\/p>\n WMG has made several recent changes to its global senior leadership team.<\/p>\n Nureni: \u201cI\u2019m excited to be stepping into this new role at Warner Music MENA.
