Six years later, the company has overseen hundreds of artists\u2019 careers as independent acts face rising touring costs.<\/p>\n<p>Adams has worked in management for <strong>19 years<\/strong>. His current roster at Blinding Talent includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>My Life As A Moth<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Catlea<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Sabina Beyli<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Honeybadger<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Molly Warburton<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>UCHAYE<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>From music television to management<\/h2>\n<p>Adams began managing artists in <strong>2007<\/strong> while serving as Head of Music at Kerrang! TV. Metal band <strong>Forever Never<\/strong> approached him, offering an opportunity to move from music programming into management.<\/p>\n<p>During his first year with the band, he secured a support tour with <strong>Stone Sour<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>He founded Blinding Talent during the COVID pandemic, when live music and touring had stopped. Warburton became the company\u2019s first signing, a milestone Adams identifies as the start of its work with artists.<\/p>\n<h2>Artist milestones<\/h2>\n<p>Brighton indie band Honeybadger reached <strong>one million organic streams<\/strong>. Adams cites that result as an example of the company\u2019s approach delivering growth without major-label backing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>D3LTA<\/strong> has accumulated millions of streams and sold out shows across the UK and Greece. Adams also identifies the artist\u2019s performance at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/greatescapefestival.com\/\">The Great Escape<\/a><\/strong> as a career milestone.<\/p>\n<p>For Adams, successful working days involve plans delivering results, whether through an editorial placement affecting streams, content reaching audiences or advice helping an artist.<\/p>\n<p>He describes difficult days as those dominated by immediate problems, leaving less time to develop and execute longer-term plans.<\/p>\n<h2>Touring costs, platforms and AI<\/h2>\n<p>Adams identifies competition for attention across online platforms as a central challenge. He argues that artists need coordinated plans covering <a href=\"https:\/\/interspacemusic.com\/blog\/impala-releases-digital-marketing-guides-for-independent-labels\/\">social media, streaming<\/a> and live performances.<\/p>\n<p>He also says rising travel, crew and promotion costs are squeezing touring margins for independent and emerging artists. Managers must assess whether a tour can support growth or requires funding from other activities.<\/p>\n<p>Artificial intelligence (AI) is another concern, affecting music discovery, marketing and creation. Adams says Blinding Talent uses it selectively while retaining human responsibility for artist relationships and strategic decisions.<\/p>\n<p>He also supports more formal professional standards in management, citing managers\u2019 responsibility for artists\u2019 careers and livelihoods.<\/p>\n<h2>Certification and current listening<\/h2>\n<p>Adams completed his <strong>Music Managers Forum (MMF) Artist Manager Certification<\/strong> in <strong>2026<\/strong>. He says the programme helped formalise his knowledge of the standards supporting sustainable management.<\/p>\n<p>He is an MMF Certified Manager, a designation recognising his professional knowledge and experience. Adams also values the organisation\u2019s network as a place for managers to exchange experience.<\/p>\n<p>His current listening includes <strong>Twat Union<\/strong>, <strong>Stella Lefty<\/strong>, <strong>Ella Langley<\/strong>, <strong>Olivia Dean<\/strong> and <strong>Sienna Spiro<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Adams says he has renewed his interest in country music, with Stella Lefty and Ella Langley
