The changes include executive departures and expanded responsibilities.<\/p>\n<h2>US label departures and appointments<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Jim Roppo<\/strong> is leaving his position as Chairman and CEO of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.republicrecords.com\/\">Republic Records<\/a><\/strong> to become Vice Chairman at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.warnerrecords.com\/\">Warner Records<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tunji Balogun<\/strong>, Chairman and CEO of <strong>Def Jam Recordings<\/strong>, will leave by year-end.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nicole Wyskoarko<\/strong> and <strong>Sam Riback<\/strong>, Presidents of A&amp;R (artists and repertoire) at <strong>Interscope Geffen A&amp;M (IGA)<\/strong>, are also departing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Island Records<\/strong> Co-CEOs <strong>Imran Majid<\/strong> and <strong>Justin Eshak<\/strong> will take on wider responsibilities across UMG\u2019s East Coast labels.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jeffrey Remedios<\/strong> and <strong>Tyler Arnold<\/strong> are moving into new leadership positions at Republic Records.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Laura Carter<\/strong>, <strong>Ramon Alvarez-Smikle<\/strong> and <strong>Michelle An<\/strong> will have expanded responsibilities at IGA. <strong>John Janick<\/strong> will continue as CEO of the wider <strong>Interscope Capitol Labels Group<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>UK and Ireland leadership changes<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Ben Mortimer<\/strong> is leaving as President of the UK\u2019s <strong>Polydor Label Group<\/strong>. <strong>Hannah Heaves<\/strong> will move from President of <strong>UMRecordings UK<\/strong> to a consultancy role.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/interspacemusic.com\/blog\/rebecca-allen-to-leave-universal-music-after-27-years\/\">Rebecca Allen<\/a><\/strong> is stepping down as Chief Artist and Strategy Officer at UMG UK after <strong>27 years<\/strong> with the company.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nick Younger<\/strong> has been named to succeed departing <strong>UMG Ireland<\/strong> Managing Director <strong>Mark Crossingham<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Cost-saving timetable<\/h2>\n<p>The leadership changes follow recent workforce reductions in Canada and Germany. UMG\u2019s reported and projected savings are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>2025:<\/strong> \u20ac90 million reported.<\/li>\n<li><strong>2026:<\/strong> a further \u20ac40 million to \u20ac50 million
