Peruzzi, Zlatan and Shoday’s “INFERNO” leads separate Nigeria lists for Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube trending videos and TikTok song growth in the latest readings available on November 4. Yet FOLA’s “miss u ii (nriri)” remains No. 1 on TurnTable’s Official Nigeria Top 100 for October 23-29. The split is a lesson in dates and measurement, not a contradiction between charts.<\/p>\n

For Nigerian release teams, the distinction matters before they turn a rank into a campaign claim. “INFERNO” arrived on October 29, the final day of TurnTable’s current chart week. Most of its visible platform run happened after that reporting window. TurnTable’s next weekly ranking will offer a better test of how the new release performs on a combined measure of streaming and radio.<\/p>\n

Four lists, four different signals<\/h2>\n

Spotify’s Nigeria daily chart for November 2, as displayed by Kworb and Chartex, puts “INFERNO” first with 385,436 charted streams. It is the fifth consecutive daily No. 1 shown in Kworb’s chart history for the track. The count is for Spotify in Nigeria on that date; it is neither an all-service total nor an earnings figure. Our earlier report on its Spotify debut<\/a> recorded a higher opening-day count, so the new reading shows a lower daily volume even while the song keeps the top rank.<\/p>\n

Apple’s Nigeria Most Played feed, saved in a November 4 update at 00:16 UTC, also places “INFERNO” first. Kworb’s November 4 Apple Music Nigeria display independently shows the same rank. Apple publishes a position in that public feed, not a play total. Its first place cannot be added to Spotify’s 385,436 to create a national count.<\/p>\n

On video, Kworb’s Nigeria YouTube trending list at 02:40 EST on November 4 puts an “INFERNO” upload first among all trending videos, ahead of music and non-music entries. A separate Cyber Kendra reading dated November 3 also listed it first. Trending is a discovery ranking, not a verified total of Nigerian music streams. The specific upload matters too: a song can have an official video, a visualizer and an audio upload, each with different traffic.<\/p>\n

The newest signal is short-form creation. Tokchart’s Nigeria chart updated November 4 ranks “INFERNO” first among songs growing on TikTok and estimates 27,604 videos per day, with 68.9% seven-day growth. Chartex’s Nigeria TikTok songs list separately places the track first for its latest 24-hour view. Those services apply their own methods, so the precise Tokchart creation estimate should stay attributed to Tokchart. Neither list proves that TikTok caused the Spotify or Apple positions.<\/p>\n

Why the official chart has another leader<\/h2>\n

TurnTable’s Official Nigeria Top 100 page covers October 23-29 and ranks FOLA’s “miss u ii (nriri)” first. Its November 3 report says the song has held that place for three weeks and reports 2.09 million on-demand streams alongside 71.4 million in radio reach for the latest chart week. TurnTable describes its ranking as a weighted combination of audio and video streams and Nigerian radio airplay. Radio reach is an exposure estimate, not a stream count, and the figures cannot be added together.<\/p>\n

The chart’s timing is decisive. “INFERNO” was released on October 29, as Chartex’s release metadata and our earlier release report show. That left only one day inside the October 23-29 TurnTable window. Spotify’s November 2 daily result, Apple’s November 4 update and the current TikTok and YouTube lists all describe later activity. Saying the song has overtaken FOLA on the official chart would be premature; saying FOLA leads today’s Spotify or Apple lists would be inaccurate.<\/p>\n

There is also a difference in what each list measures. Spotify reports charted streams on one service. Apple orders songs within its own service without a public play figure. TikTok tracks creation activity, and YouTube’s trending list measures visibility of a video. TurnTable combines multiple consumption and airplay inputs over a week. A first place in each of the four platform views is meaningful exposure, but it is not four independent estimates of the same audience.<\/p>\n

What the next update can answer<\/h2>\n

“INFERNO” has moved beyond the opening positions covered in our Apple Music report<\/a>: the November 4 TikTok growth rank and a continuing YouTube lead add new evidence of reach across formats. The question for its team is now whether that attention survives another week and appears in a full TurnTable reporting period. The next official chart can test the broader ranking; the next Spotify daily counts can test whether the song keeps listeners as its launch week recedes.<\/p>\n

For the moment, these are two defensible findings with different clocks. FOLA led TurnTable’s October 23-29 combined chart. “INFERNO” leads the cited later platform lists.
