The investigation into the remains of a 15-year-old found in the trunk of a car registered to singer D4vd continues. This week, the body was identified as Celeste Rivas, who had been missing from Lake Elsinore since April 2024\u2014and it\u2019s become apparent that she and the singer in whose car she was found may have known one another.

The remaining dates on D4vd\u2019s U.S. tour, two stops in Los Angeles scheduled for Saturday and next Wednesday, have been\u00a0removed<\/a>\u00a0from the venue websites as of Thursday, September 18.

Tickets for tonight\u2019s show in San Francisco (September 19) were still on sale as of Friday morning, but it seems unlikely the concert will go on as planned. According to\u00a0TMZ<\/em>, the\u00a0singer\u2019s team decided<\/a>\u00a0to cancel all remaining dates. A concert in Seattle scheduled for Wednesday was also called off earlier in the week.

Notably, tickets for the European leg of his tour, which is scheduled to kick off in Norway on October 1, are still on sale.
Interscope, the label representing D4vd, has also reportedly suspended the release of his upcoming album and all associated promotion. Withered Deluxe: Marcescence was due to drop today. The singer has also lost some brand promotion deals with Crocs and Hollister this week as a result of the investigation.
Since the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner\u2019s report revealed the identity of the victim this week, details have circulated online indicating that D4vd, whose real name is David Burke, knew her\u00a0from his Discord server. Lyrics of allegedly unreleased music from the singer contain the name Celeste.
Meanwhile, both\u00a0family and teachers<\/a>\u00a0of the deceased indicate that she was seeing someone named David before her disappearance last year.
