The company\u2019s website now displays the statement: \u201cUniversal Music Publishing Group exists to advance the collaborative, personal, imperfect, human act of creating songs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The new brand\u2019s central concept is described as \u201cWherever songs go, We are a world ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The rebranding includes a new logo, website design, typography, and color palette.<\/p>\n<p>The UMPG website\u2019s homepage showcases artists signed to the publisher, including <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Taylor_Swift\">Taylor Swift<\/a>, Ariana Grande, and Kendrick Lamar.<\/p>\n<p>Concurrently with the brand update, UMPG launched a video series titled Publishing 101. The series will cover various aspects of the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Music_publishing\">music publishing industry<\/a>, including A&amp;R, synchronization licensing, royalty collection, and administration.<\/p>\n<p>The first video in the series premiered on Tuesday, June 16, at 9 a.m. PT, with new installments scheduled for release each Tuesday at the same time.<\/p>\n<p>The videos are available on the UMPG website, as well as on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.<\/p>\n<p>GrandArmy, a creative agency with a portfolio including A24, NPR, and Adidas, designed the new branding.<\/p>\n<p>Jody Gerson, Chairman &amp; CEO of UMPG, stated: \u201cEverything in music starts with a songwriter.
