Ten independent agencies have been chosen for the first cohort, each eligible for up to <strong>\u20a9300 million ($197,000)<\/strong> per year over three years, contingent on the effective use of funds. The funds will finance global marketing, video production, and touring activities. The government plans to select 10 new agencies annually.<\/p>\n<p>The current roster of supported K-pop groups includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Rescene<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Xikers\"><strong>Xikers<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>TUNEXX<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>can\u2019t be blue<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Kiiras<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>82Major<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Big Ocean<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Uspeer<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>X:in<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>8Turn<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Choi Sung-hee, Director General of the Ministry\u2019s Content Media Industry Bureau, stated:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cFor K-pop to achieve sustainable growth, the smaller agencies that form the backbone of our industry must be able to thrive.
