The companies said the collaboration complements SoundCloud&#8217;s existing discovery tools by enabling human-to-human amplification of music.<\/p>\n<p>RepostExchange, a free-to-use platform with more than 500,000 registered artists, labels, and SoundCloud channels, operates on a credit-based system:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Artists repost tracks to their SoundCloud followers, generating up to 30 million daily impressions, according to the company.<\/li>\n<li>Creators earn credits by engaging with other users&#8217; music, offering feedback, and sharing tracks they enjoy.<\/li>\n<li>Credits can then be spent to promote the creator&#8217;s own music across the RepostExchange community and the wider SoundCloud ecosystem.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As part of the deal, RepostExchange will gain access to <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.soundcloud.com\">SoundCloud&#8217;s Partner API<\/a>, allowing it to build deeper integrations and more powerful tools. Joint initiatives, including co-hosted remix competitions and content features, are planned to broaden artists&#8217; exposure.<\/p>\n<p>Jordan Pettinato, Senior Director of Business Development at SoundCloud, said: &#8220;By combining SoundCloud&#8217;s global reach and discovery ecosystem with RepostExchange&#8217;s trusted, peer-to-peer network, we&#8217;re giving independent SoundCloud artists new ways to connect, collaborate, and amplify their music through real community support.
