Four veteran artist managers from the heavy music space have joined forces to launch Upper Hand Management<\/strong>, a new firm that pools expertise across touring, merchandising, ticketing, and festivals.<\/p>\n

The company is founded by Josh Pulgarin<\/strong> and Scott Lee<\/strong>, previously of SL Management<\/strong>, alongside Jackie Andersen<\/strong> and Ryan \u201cDog\u201d Nelson<\/strong>, who both held roles at Good Fight Management<\/strong>. Good Fight Management will continue to operate following their departure.<\/p>\n

Upper Hand Management aims to deliver what it describes as \u201cmore creative and extensive support\u201d to its artists by drawing on the founders\u2019 combined experience. Lee co-founded merchandise supplier Armada<\/strong> and the VIP ticketing platform Sound Rink<\/a><\/strong>. Andersen leads SharpTone Records<\/a><\/strong>, a label focused on metalcore and hardcore. Nelson owns Merch Connection<\/strong>, a merchandising and ticketing company serving the alternative and hardcore scene.<\/p>\n

At SL Management, Lee and Pulgarin helped develop the careers of acts including Currents<\/strong>, Kublai Khan TX<\/strong>, and Bodysnatcher<\/strong>. Andersen and Nelson built their roster within Good Fight Management.<\/p>\n
