Its roster has included <a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/artist\/3TbDTl4a4TZ2gNCQ2qFm1L\">Tank and the Bangas<\/a>, <strong>Benny the Butcher<\/strong>, <strong>Harry Mack<\/strong>, <strong>Lost Dog Street Band<\/strong>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sierraferrellmusic.com\">Sierra Ferrell<\/a>, among hundreds of others. The agency is also preparing to launch sports and television divisions.<\/p>\n<h2>A Hands-On Approach to Breaking Talent<\/h2>\n<p>&#8220;There are very few agencies out there willing to take on acts as early as we do and structurally develop them on the road,&#8221; Gordon said. &#8220;We proudly own our lane, whether it comes to breaking new talent or protecting the touring business of legacy acts.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He added: &#8220;At the end of the day, it is all about helping our roster grow their business through hard work, absolute transparency, and foundational education.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2>From Hustling to Agency Ownership<\/h2>\n<p>Gordon grew up in a blue-collar family in Barberton, Ohio. His mother was a hospital worker and union president, while his father worked concrete and preached on Sundays. Without a corporate blueprint, he learned by doing: producing beats, starting a recording studio, and launching an independent record label.<\/p>\n<p>He entered the booking world as an intern, initially aiming for a career in management or <a href=\"https:\/\/interspacemusic.com\/blog\/music-industry-job-roundup-ar-digital-strategy-and-operations-roles-open\/\">A&amp;R<\/a>. &#8220;I applied everywhere like it was my full-time job, but the universe still guided me to a talent agency,&#8221; he said. He had already founded his own management company, so booking wasn&#8217;t unfamiliar, but doing it at scale changed his perspective. &#8220;I didn&#8217;t sleep on the opportunity,&#8221; he noted, adding that the shift to agent was &#8220;definitely not as thankless as being a manager.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2>The Agent as a Managerial Partner<\/h2>\n<p>Gordon views agents as integral members of the team surrounding an artist. &#8220;I firmly believe a great agent always keeps a manager&#8217;s hat in their back pocket,&#8221; he said. &#8220;There are days in this business when, even as the booking agent, the situation requires you to put that hat on to protect the client.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He prioritizes authenticity in relationship building: &#8220;Be who you really are, say exactly what you mean, and only promise what you can actually deliver, or better yet, under-promise and over-deliver.&#8221; As an agency owner, he instills that culture, seeking agents who uncover a client&#8217;s actual needs and bring true value rather than simply taking orders.<\/p>\n<h2>Live Performance as a Foundation<\/h2>\n<p>Gordon considers <a href=\"https:\/\/interspacemusic.com\/blog\/giglogic-launches-to-help-artists-evaluate-live-gig-profitability\/\">live performance<\/a> skills the most critical asset an artist can develop. &#8220;It does worry me that so many of us are now <a href=\"https:\/\/interspacemusic.com\/blog\/social-media-virality-now-outweighs-dj-skills-in-booking-decisions\/\">hiding behind our screens<\/a>,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Nothing will ever replace that real human-to-human connection.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>While he believes every act will eventually need to tour, he advises developing artists to focus first on perfecting their show and building an audience. &#8220;Touring isn&#8217;t for the weak,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I feel a lot of acts come in excited and leave broken down&#8230; It&#8217;s real
