Artist Legacy Group<\/strong> (ALG<\/strong>) will represent the estate of Raul Malo<\/strong>, founding frontman of GRAMMY-winning act The Mavericks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n New York-based ALG will oversee the estate\u2019s intellectual property rights, business interests and archival assets.<\/p>\n It will secure opportunities for media projects, brand partnerships and consumer products that celebrate Malo\u2019s life, music, and legacy.<\/p>\n The agreement adds to ALG\u2019s roster of artists, estates and entertainment brands, which includes the estates and legacies of DMX<\/strong>, Sam Cooke<\/strong>, Bootsy Collins<\/strong>, Ronnie Spector<\/strong>, and The Blues Brothers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Formed in Miami in 1989, The Mavericks blended country, Latin, rock, blues and pop.<\/p>\n Led by Malo, the group released singles such as \u201cAll You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down\u201d and \u201cDance The Night Away.\u201d<\/p>\n Ashley Austin<\/strong>, ALG Founder and CEO: \u201cWe are so grateful to the Malo family for allowing us to be part of this next chapter.
