The experience soft-launched several months ago and has already recorded 3.8 million visits.<\/p>\n<h2>How the game works<\/h2>\n<p>Set in the tycoon genre, Music Festival Tycoon starts players with an empty field and challenges them to build stages, food stalls, merchandise stands, and restrooms while booking artists. The game includes a fictional headliner, <strong>MashUpHeaval<\/strong>, a pop singer and rock guitarist duo that opens every set with the phrase &#8220;Remember 2010?&#8221;<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<h2>Real-world festival tie-ins<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.livenationentertainment.com\">Live Nation<\/a> is integrating elements from its physical festivals to connect virtual and live events. The first activation comes from <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lollapalooza.com\">Lollapalooza<\/a><\/strong>, whose main stage, mascot, and official merchandise stand can be placed in players&#8217; custom festivals.
