Live Nation<\/a><\/strong> and Brazilian developer Cidade Center Norte<\/strong><\/a> have formed a joint venture to construct the S\u00e3o Paulo Arena<\/strong>, which will be the largest indoor venue in South America purpose-built for live entertainment.<\/p>\n

The arena will rise in S\u00e3o Paulo, with construction scheduled to begin later this year and a targeted opening in 2028. Once operational, the venue is expected to host more than 200 concerts<\/a> and sporting events annually, drawing over 2 million visitors each year.<\/p>\n

The project is projected to create 1,800 jobs and generate over $311.2 million in spending across Brazil within its first five years. Blueprint Studio<\/strong>, Live Nation’s in-house architecture firm known for designing Barclays Center<\/a> in New York and Moody Center<\/a> in Austin, will oversee the arena’s design.<\/p>\n

Michael Rapino<\/strong>, President and CEO of Live Nation Entertainment, said:<\/p>\n
