Overview

InterSpace Distribution is looking for an Artists & Label Manager to be the primary point of contact for a growing roster of independent artists and labels. You’ll guide clients from onboarding through release day, keep their catalogue healthy, and help them get the most out of our distribution, analytics, and marketing tools.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of artists and labels distributing through InterSpace
  • Onboard new artist and label accounts, guiding them through catalogue setup and release scheduling
  • Review release submissions for metadata accuracy, rights clearance, and DSP delivery readiness
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities for roster clients, including playlist pitching, marketing support, and release strategy
  • Track release performance and provide clients with actionable insights
  • Escalate technical or royalty issues to the appropriate internal team
  • Maintain accurate records of artist and label relationships in the CMS

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in artist management, label services, or music distribution
  • Strong understanding of the DSP ecosystem (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.) and release workflows
  • Excellent relationship-management and communication skills
  • Comfortable working with data and dashboards to track catalogue performance
  • Familiarity with African music markets is a strong plus
  • A self-starter who can manage a growing roster independently
