Overview

InterSpace Distribution is looking for a Community Manager / Content Creator to grow our presence across social platforms, engage our artist and label community, and produce content that shows off the InterSpace brand and the wins of the artists we work with.

Responsibilities

• Plan and publish content across our social channels (X, Instagram, TikTok, etc.), keeping a consistent posting cadence
• Create short-form video, graphics, and written content that highlights product features, artist wins, and industry moments
• Monitor and respond to mentions, comments, and DMs, engaging authentically with artists, labels, and the wider music community
• Track trending conversations in the music and tech space and turn them into timely content opportunities
• Collaborate with the editorial and product teams to repurpose blog posts, product updates, and data into social-ready content
• Report on engagement, follower growth, and content performance, and adjust strategy based on what’s working
• Help coordinate community-facing moments such as artist spotlights, giveaways, and platform announcements

Requirements

• Experience managing social or community channels for a brand, ideally in music, entertainment, or tech
• Strong writing and visual storytelling skills; comfortable with short-form video and editing tools
• A genuine interest in and knowledge of the African music scene and the wider global music industry
• Data-informed approach to content, comfortable reading engagement metrics and adjusting accordingly
• Self-starter who can manage a content calendar independently
• Familiarity with music distribution or DSP culture is a strong plus
