What it is

## A streaming service you launch, not one you build.

A white-label VOD platform is a ready-built streaming service, with apps, video player, payments and security, that you launch under your own brand. Netflix spent years building that technology. You get the same kind of service in weeks, and spend your time on the part only you can do: the content and the audience.

- Upload your films, series and live events once
- We encode, protect and deliver them to every screen
- Viewers sign up, pay and watch under your brand
- You see every view, subscriber and payment in one dashboard

Why now

## Your audience already streams, and pays for it.

Viewers watch and pay for streaming at a scale that keeps growing. A service of your own lets you earn from that audience directly, not only through licences to someone else’s platform.

subscriptions to streaming video services worldwide, on track for 2.6 billion by 2030.

Ways to earn

## Charge the way your audience wants to pay.

Most successful services mix models: a free tier that brings viewers in, a subscription that keeps them, and rentals or tickets for premieres and live events. Set the model per title and change it whenever you like.

SVOD
**Subscriptions.** Monthly or annual plans that unlock the whole library, with free trials, promo codes and as many tiers as you need. Predictable, recurring revenue.

TVOD
**Rent or buy.** Charge per title: a 48-hour rental for a premiere, a permanent purchase for a classic. The highest revenue per viewer, ideal for new releases.

AVOD
**Free with ads.** Free to watch, paid for by advertising. The widest possible audience, and the easiest way to bring new viewers into your service.

PPV
**Live tickets.** Sell access to a live match, concert, conference or premiere, with the replay included or sold separately.

Hybrid
**All of the above.** A free ad-supported tier, a paid subscription and rentals for premium titles, side by side in one app. Set the model per title and change it any time.

Build or launch

## Build it for years, or launch it in weeks.

What it takes to put your own streaming service in front of viewers, compared side by side.

Who it is for

## Built for anyone with an audience and a library.

If people would pay to watch what you make, or watch it with ads, you have the start of a streaming service.

### Film studios and distributors

Turn a catalogue into a direct-to-viewer service with its own subscribers, alongside the licences you already sell.

### Independent producers

Premiere new films to your own audience first, rent them worldwide, and keep the relationship with every viewer.

### TV channels and broadcasters

Put your shows, archive and live channel on phones and smart TVs, with a free ad-supported tier and a premium subscription.

### Churches and faith networks

Stream services live, keep every sermon and series on demand, and let members watch on the TV at home.

### Sports leagues, clubs and events

Sell live match passes and season subscriptions, with replays and highlights ready the moment the whistle goes.

### Creators, educators and coaches

Package courses, classes and workouts as a subscription app your community installs, instead of renting space on someone else’s platform.

### Labels, artists and festivals

Release concert films, documentaries and live shows on a service of your own, next to the music you already distribute with us.

### Telecoms and media groups

Launch a branded video service for your customers, bundled with data plans or existing subscriptions.

How launch works

## From first call to every screen in about six weeks.

A typical launch. Large catalogues and custom features take longer.

Week 1

### Demo and launch plan

We walk through the platform, then agree your catalogue, territories, pricing model and which apps to launch with.

Week 1 to 2

### Brand and catalogue

You send your logo, colours and titles. We set up your look, then encode, protect and organise your library.

Week 2 to 3

### Website live

Your streaming website goes live on your domain with payments switched on, ready for a soft launch to your audience.

Week 3 to 6

### Mobile and TV apps

Your apps are built in your brand and submitted to each app store under your own accounts. Review times are set by each store.

Launch

### Go live everywhere

Announce to your audience with every screen ready. Our team is on hand through launch week.

Every month

### Grow and report

Revenue, subscriber and viewing reports, new features as they ship, and app updates handled for you.

Pricing

## One launch fee. After that, we earn when you do.

### Launch fee

A one-time fee to set up your platform: branded website and apps, app store submissions, payment setup, catalogue onboarding and launch support.

### Revenue share

After launch we take an agreed share of the revenue your platform earns. It covers running the service: hosting, streaming, security, app updates and support.

### A written quote

Terms depend on your catalogue, the apps you need and the audience you expect. Every engagement starts with a demo and a quote in writing.

No per-seat software licences and no bill for servers you never see. If your platform earns nothing, our share is nothing.

Questions

## Launching a streaming platform, answered.

**What is a white-label VOD platform?**
A white-label VOD platform is a ready-built video streaming service that a company launches under its own name and brand. The provider supplies and runs the technology: the apps, the video player, encoding, DRM, payments and delivery. The company supplies the content, the brand and the audience, sets the prices and keeps the relationship with its subscribers.
**How do I start my own streaming service?**
Decide who your audience is and what they will pay for, make sure you hold the streaming rights to your titles, and choose how to earn: subscriptions, rentals, ads or tickets. Then launch on a white-label platform instead of building the technology. With InterSpace VOD you book a demo, send your brand and catalogue, and your website goes live within about three weeks, with the mobile and TV apps following as the app stores approve them.
**How much does it cost to launch a streaming platform like Netflix?**
With InterSpace VOD you pay a one-time launch fee to set up your branded platform and apps, then an agreed share of the revenue it earns. There is no engineering team to hire and no video, security or payment infrastructure to contract. Building the same thing in-house means separate apps for every screen plus encoding, delivery, DRM and billing systems, all paid for before your first subscriber. We quote every platform in writing after a demo.
**How long does it take to launch?**
A typical launch has your website live within the first three weeks, with the mobile and TV apps following as each app store completes its review. Most services are on every screen within about six weeks. Large catalogues and custom features take longer, and store review times are set by Apple, Google and the TV platforms.
**Which devices and apps are included?**
A streaming website on your own domain, apps for iPhone, iPad and Android, and TV apps for Apple TV, Android TV, Google TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Samsung and LG smart TVs. You choose which ones to launch with and can add the rest later.
**Do I need developers or my own servers?**
No. InterSpace runs the apps, video encoding and storage, the delivery network, DRM, payments and app store updates. Your team manages titles, prices and promotions from a web dashboard, with no code to write and no servers to rent.
**How do streaming services make money?**
Through four main models. Subscriptions (SVOD) charge a monthly or annual fee for the whole library. Rentals and purchases (TVOD) charge per title. Ad-supported viewing (AVOD and FAST) is free to watch and earns from advertising. Pay-per-view sells tickets to live events. Most services combine two or more, for example a free tier with ads next to a paid subscription.
**Can I charge subscriptions, sell rentals and show ads at the same time?**
Yes. You can run subscriptions (SVOD), rentals and purchases (TVOD), a free ad-supported tier (AVOD) and ticketed live events side by side, and set the model title by title. Many services use a free tier to attract viewers and a subscription to keep them.
**Can my viewers pay in their local currency or with mobile money?**
Yes. Viewers can pay by card, through Apple and Google in-app purchases, and with local payment methods such as mobile money and bank transfer where they are available. Prices can be set per country and per currency, so a subscription is priced for each market rather than converted from dollars.
**Can I stream live events and sell tickets?**
Yes. Stream live matches, concerts, services, conferences and premieres, sell pay-per-view tickets or include them in a subscription, and publish the replay to your library when the event ends. You can also run always-on live channels.
**How is my content protected from piracy?**
Every title is encrypted and played back through Widevine, FairPlay and PlayReady DRM, the same systems the major studios require. You can limit how many devices and simultaneous streams each account has and restrict titles by country. If copies of your titles turn up on YouTube, our
[Content ID service](https://interspacemusic.com/youtube-mcn/)
can find and claim them.
**Will my viewers see the InterSpace brand?**
No. The website, the apps, the emails and the app store listings carry your name, logo and colours. The mobile and TV apps are published under your own developer accounts, which is also what Apple and Google expect for a branded streaming app.
**Who owns the subscribers and the content?**
You do. Your titles stay yours and are licensed to the platform only to stream them to your viewers. Your subscribers are your customers, and their viewing and revenue data is available to you in your dashboard and as exports.
**Do I need the rights to the content I stream?**
Yes. You need to own, or hold a licence for, the streaming rights to every title in the countries where you offer it. We set territory restrictions per title, so a film you can only show in some markets is only visible there. Music in your titles must be cleared for streaming too.
**Can I move my existing library and subscribers from another platform?**
Yes. We import your existing videos, artwork and metadata, and plan the move of your current subscribers with you, including how and when their billing switches over, so nobody loses access on launch day.
**Can my films be on my own platform and on other streaming services too?**
Yes, as long as your licences allow it. Many rights holders run their own service for their core audience and license the same titles to other platforms for wider reach. Our
[film distribution](https://interspacemusic.com/film-distribution/)
team delivers to transactional, subscription, ad-supported and FAST platforms worldwide, and can plan the windows so the two work together.
**Is InterSpace VOD a Netflix clone script?**
No. A clone script is source code you buy and then host, secure, update and take through app store review yourself. InterSpace VOD is a managed platform: we build and submit your apps, run the video infrastructure and keep everything current, while the service carries only your brand. It is not affiliated with Netflix. Netflix-style describes the kind of service, not where it comes from.
**What is the difference between OTT and VOD?**
OTT (over-the-top) describes any video delivered over the internet instead of cable, satellite or broadcast. VOD (video on demand) is the part of it that viewers watch whenever they choose, rather than at a scheduled time. A Netflix-style service is an OTT service built mainly on VOD, often with some live streaming alongside.
Netflix is a trademark of Netflix, Inc. Apple TV, iPhone and iPad are trademarks of Apple Inc. Android, Android TV and Google TV are trademarks of Google LLC. Fire TV is a trademark of Amazon.com, Inc. Roku is a trademark of Roku, Inc. Samsung and LG are trademarks of their respective owners. InterSpace Distribution is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these companies.
