TikTok has quietly introduced a new platform called TikTok for Artists, aimed at helping musicians promote their work, connect with fans, and gain deeper insights into how their music is performing on the app. The platform provides artists with powerful tools to track performance metrics and better understand what types of content resonate with their audience.

The soft launch marks TikTok’s latest move to strengthen its relationship with the music community. TikTok for Artists offers a suite of analytics tools that allow users to monitor how their songs are trending and what kind of content is driving engagement. It also includes features designed to make music promotion more effective and accessible.

As first reported by Music Ally, the platform has been in beta testing for a select group of artists. Now, TikTok is expanding access with a rollout in five initial markets: Australia, Indonesia, Japan, New Zealand, and South Korea. According to Music Business Worldwide (MBW), more countries are expected to gain access in the near future.
In addition to performance insights, the platform includes free promotional tools—similar to Spotify for Artists, but unlike SoundCloud’s paid tier. This positions TikTok for Artists as a valuable, no-cost resource for musicians looking to grow their audience on the app.

TikTok has stated that more details about the platform and its capabilities will be revealed soon.
