Belgian DJ and producer Amelie Lens and singer Angèle have announced a new collaborative single, ‘run’, set for release on 7 August.

The track was first previewed earlier this month when Angèle made a surprise appearance during Lens’ set at Belgium’s Dour Festival.

‘run’ is taken from Lens’ upcoming album ‘AURA’, which will be released on 4 September via EXHALE Records. The LP was announced in May alongside the lead single ‘our frequency’.

As the only collaboration on the record, ‘run’ pairs Angèle’s vocals with rapid-fire techno percussion and sci-fi synthesizer lines. In an interview at Tomorrowland, Lens said she hopes the track will be the first her baby hears when she is born later this year.

Lens has also confirmed a large-scale open-air performance at Antwerp’s Royal Museum of Fine Arts on 5 September to mark the album’s release. Organized with the City of Antwerp, the event will accommodate 14,000 attendees and run from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.
