Submissions
The InterSpace Daily is Nigeria’s leading music tech blog and a trade publication for the business of music: DSPs and distribution, labels, rights, and the deals and data shaping the industry across Africa and beyond. We take submissions from artists, labels, distributors, publicists, and industry professionals who have news, data, or expertise worth sharing with our readers, and we hold everything we publish, ours or yours, to the same editorial bar. This page explains what we cover, how to pitch us, and what we won’t run.

Content & Editorial Policy
Every story that runs on The InterSpace Daily is selected and edited by our editorial team, not auto-published from a feed. We report on the commercial side of music the way trade press covers any serious industry: sourced, fact-checked, and independent of who’s buying ads. Coverage decisions are made on newsworthiness and relevance to our readers, never on advertising relationships, and any paid or sponsored content is clearly labeled as an ad.
We prioritize:
- Original reporting and analysis on the commercial side of music: DSPs, distribution, royalties, licensing, and rights
- Verified company news: funding, acquisitions, partnerships, platform launches, and policy changes
- Artist and label stories with a clear business angle, not general entertainment coverage
- Data-backed market trends, particularly across Africa, Asia, and other regions underserved by music-industry press
We fact-check claims before publication and correct errors publicly once verified. Submitting material to us does not guarantee it will be published: our editors evaluate every submission against these standards, and accepted material may be edited for length, clarity, and house style.
Submission Guidelines
We’re selective because our readers rely on us to separate real industry news from noise. We accept submissions from publicists, labels, distributors, artists, and industry contacts covering:
- Company and platform news (launches, funding, partnerships, leadership changes)
- Data, reports, and research relevant to the music business
- Artist news with a genuine business or industry angle
- Guest commentary from operators and executives in music, tech, or rights
How to submit: use our submission form. Include your name, company, and role, along with a clear subject line and your pitch or release in the message field. You can attach supporting audio, video, or image files directly to the form.
We aim to review every submission, but volume means we can’t respond individually to every pitch, and inclusion in our review queue doesn’t obligate us to cover it.
For corrections or copyright concerns about a published article, see Legal & Compliance below rather than using the submission form.
