What is InterSpace Distribution?
A digital music and video distribution company that delivers music to 150+ streaming platforms worldwide, including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, TikTok, Audiomack and Boomplay. We also provide YouTube Multi-Channel Network services, royalty collection and marketing tools for independent artists and labels.

How long does it take before my song goes live?
Releases can be live the same day they are approved. Most stores show them within hours, and a few take up to a couple of days to index. You can monitor each store's status from the release page.
When and how do I receive payment?
Royalties are paid out monthly once your earnings pass the minimum payout threshold. Payments are requested from the dashboard and paid in your selected currency, with NGN, USD, EUR, GBP, GHS and ZAR supported.
When and how do I receive my link after upload?
Your SmartLink is created automatically when the release is approved. If you bought a pre-save page, it switches to play mode on release day. Store links appear on the release page as each store goes live.
Does InterSpace Distribution manage artists?
InterSpace primarily provides distribution and supporting services. Marketing and promotion are available on a paid basis through the dashboard rather than as part of an exclusive management agreement.
Can I upload MP3 files?
No. Stores require lossless audio. Upload WAV files at 16-bit or 24-bit, 44.1 kHz or higher.
How often is my report updated?
Statements are monthly. Stores report on a delay, usually one to three months behind the streams, and your dashboard updates as each store's reporting arrives. Streaming trends update more often.
Can I distribute cover songs?
Yes, with a mechanical licence. Our partner Easy Song Licensing clears any song for $19.99 plus royalties in one to two business days.
Do you accept DJ mixes or mixtapes?
No. InterSpace Distribution does not distribute DJ mixes, mixtapes or continuous sets, even where the tracks are licensed. Compilations of tracks you own the rights to are accepted on Artist Plus and Label.
Do you offer music promotion?
Yes. Playlist and blog submission is included on every paid plan, and playlist pitching, PR, digital marketing, radio and social campaigns are available from the Toolbox.
What identification is accepted to verify my account?
Government-issued photo identification such as a national ID card, international passport or driver's licence. Requirements can vary by region and account type.
Do you offer YouTube CMS or Content ID access?
Yes. InterSpace Distribution is a YouTube Certified Service Provider, offering Content ID, sound recording asset registration, Official Artist Channel set-up and full music video distribution to YouTube and YouTube Music.
Can I distribute music videos?
Yes. Music video distribution to YouTube Music, VEVO, Apple Music TV, Tidal and other video platforms is available from $27 per video.
Do I keep ownership of my music?
Yes. You keep 100% ownership of your master recordings and rights. InterSpace acts as your distribution partner, not a label that owns your music.
Do you take a cut of my royalties?
Not on a paid plan. Artiste and Artist Plus keep 100% of the royalties the stores pay. The free tier keeps 70%, and does not include Content ID, splits or multi-currency payouts.
Can I release AI-generated music?
Yes, on Artist Plus and Partner, and only with full disclosure at upload. Read the AI-generated content policy for what is allowed.
Who can open an account?
Anyone aged 16 or over. Account holders under 18 need a parent or guardian to accept the terms on their behalf.
