A licensing and integration fee applies. On a ready-to-use channel, title stays with InterSpace and you hold operational rights while compliant. On a purchased O&O channel, ownership transfers to you under a signed Channel Transfer Agreement.

Content ID
Get paid when other people use your content.
Every user-uploaded video that contains your audio or footage, from dance challenges and reaction videos to fan compilations and re-uploads, can earn you ad revenue or be taken down. For active artists in genres like Afrobeats, Amapiano and drill, Content ID income often exceeds direct YouTube Music streams. For film and TV owners it is the difference between piracy and a revenue line.

Week 1
Agreement, KYC and fees
The MCN agreement is signed, identity and ownership documents are verified, and onboarding fees are settled. Nothing is activated before all three are done.
Week 1 to 2
Compliance and rights checks
Channels are reviewed for policy standing, existing claims and conflicts, and any compliance or mapping work is disclosed before we proceed.
Week 2
CMS mapping and policy set-up
Channels are linked or provisioned, reference files and policies configured, allow-lists and geo rules applied.

What is a YouTube Multi-Channel Network?
An MCN is a YouTube-approved partner that aggregates channels under one Content Management System and manages rights, monetisation, compliance and payments for them. InterSpace runs one as a YouTube Certified Service Provider.
What is the revenue split?
The standard split is 95/5 in your favour on eligible YouTube revenue: ads, Shorts, YouTube Music and Content ID where applicable. Brand deals carry a separate, disclosed fee. Different terms can be agreed in writing for large networks.
Are there fees to join?
Yes. A one-time onboarding fee per package for creator-owned channels, and a licensing and integration fee for ready-to-use channels. Some channel types or volumes need additional compliance, mapping or verification work, which is quoted case by case before we proceed.
How long is the agreement?
Twenty-four months, renewing automatically unless either side gives sixty days’ written notice before it ends. Channels must not be affiliated with another MCN during the term.
My channel is not monetised. Can you help?
Yes. If you are not yet in the YouTube Partner Programme, we can provision a ready-to-use channel under our CMS so you can start earning, and give you a growth plan to get your own channel eligible.
Do you bring brand deals?
Yes. Our partnerships team pitches channels in the network to brands and agencies for integrations and sponsorships. You approve every deal before it is signed and we handle contracts and invoicing.
Can a TV or satellite channel join?
Yes. Broadcasters are onboarded with bulk ingest, network-level policy, live simulcast support and per-channel reporting. Tell us the archive size and daily output in your enquiry.
What are owned and operated channels?
O&O channels are YouTube channels that InterSpace built, grew and monetised under its own CMS. They are available to purchase outright: you get a compliant, earning channel with an auditable history, and ownership transfers to you under a signed Channel Transfer Agreement. Ready-to-use channels are the rental version of the same idea, where InterSpace keeps title and you hold operational rights.
Do you work with agencies and investors?
Yes. Agencies onboard a roster under one CMS view with per-channel statements and staff permissions. Investors and channel operators get due diligence before a purchase, O&O channels from our portfolio to acquire, and compliance across every channel they hold.
When am I paid?
Monthly, after YouTube remits, which typically takes 30 to 90 days from the viewing month, and subject to minimum payout thresholds, completed KYC and tax information, and no unresolved policy disputes. Payouts are available in multiple currencies.
Is this the same as Content ID on a distribution plan?
No. Content ID for your music is included on every paid InterSpace distribution plan. The network is for channel-level services beyond that: rights management, compliance, brand deals, ready-to-use channels, Creator Hub and payouts on all YouTube revenue.
