Roblox ended the second quarter of 2026 with 123 million daily active users (DAUs), marking a third straight quarterly decline from a peak of 152 million in Q3 2025. The platform reported 144 million DAUs in Q4 2025 and 132 million in Q1 2026, though the latest figure still represents a 10% year-on-year increase from 112 million in Q2 2025.
During the earnings call, CEO David Baszucki pointed to seasonality as the primary driver of the DAU trend. Earlier this year, Roblox also began age-checking all users and restricting chat features for unverified accounts, a change that may have influenced engagement.
For music companies exploring Roblox as a marketing channel, the platform’s shifting demographics offer new context. Age-checked users over 18 now make up 27% of the total, a share that rises to roughly one-third in the United States.
Chief Financial Officer Naveen Chopra noted a reduction in the platform’s reliance on its most popular titles:
Three years ago, our top 10 games accounted for about 30% of all the hours engaged on Roblox. Today, the top 10 games account for approximately 20% of hours.
