South African musician Tarzan has unveiled a new single, “Seyinomnikazi,” embracing Afro Soul and R&B in a deliberate move away from the Afro Tech and Afri Dance styles that defined her earlier work.

Released on 3 July 2026, the track explores themes of love, commitment, and vulnerability. The title translates to “my heart has found the one I love,” and Tarzan describes it as a reflection of a personal experience.

“This song is deeply personal, inspired by a pivotal moment in my life when I realised that love had truly found its forever home,” Tarzan said. “The emotion behind the lyrics is genuine and raw, which is why I chose to give it a romantic yet definitive tone, there’s no room for hopefuls. Shifting to Afro Soul was a deliberate choice representing growth not just in sound, but in storytelling and connection.”

The artist, whose previous releases include “Asingamavaka” and “Aamaphoyisa,” noted that the single has gained traction on streaming platforms and TikTok since its release. “I believe this deep connection stems from the genuine emotion the song carries and the universal theme of finding enduring love. It’s an honour to see so many people relate to this story and make it a part of their lives.”

Tarzan added that the response will influence her upcoming live performances. “I’m committed to delivering A-class performances that bring this song to life on stage. Expect immersive shows that combine heartfelt vocals with captivating visuals and engaging stage presence, designed to make every listener feel like they’re part of the experience.”

“Seyinomnikazi” serves as the lead single ahead of Tarzan’s debut album, scheduled for release in November.
