Belgian electronic artist Amelie Lens and pop singer Angèle have released a new collaborative single, “run,” the latest preview of Lens’ forthcoming debut album “AURA.”
The track was first performed live at Belgium’s Dour Festival in July, and the studio version is now available alongside footage of that performance.
“I have been such a fan of hers for so long, I think she’s a truly special talent and that’s why she’s the only other artist and only collab on my whole album,” Lens said of working with Angèle.
Angèle, recalling the “goosebumps” she felt watching Lens’ Glastonbury set last year, added: “I’m really happy we finally got to make something together.”
“AURA” is scheduled for release on September 4 via Lens’ EXHALE label. The album includes the previously issued singles “our frequency” and “whatever you do,” and arrives a decade after Lens’ first release, “Exhale,” in 2016. It features Lens’ own vocals and will be available digitally and as a double LP pressed on blue and white vinyl.
