Over 100 creators gathered in Taipei for the 2026 MÜST International Songwriting Camp, which successfully wrapped up on September 11. Hosted by MÜST, Taiwan’s largest CMO, the week-long event fostered cross-cultural exchanges and yielded 55 original tracks, demonstrating how music bridges diverse cultures and enriches lives worldwide.

In an era of rapid technological advancement and artificial intelligence, reconnecting on a human level has become essential. Music remains the most fundamental, borderless language, carrying cultural heritage across generations.

Participants collaborated as fellow creators, writing new songs, burning the midnight oil for final masters, and sharing late-night meals. Beyond serving as the event organizer and host, MÜST remains committed to cultivating a sustainable industry ecosystem where creative works generate fair income within a robust legal structure.

To maximize creative opportunities, MÜST introduced a novel two-tier participation mechanism featuring “Regular Members” attending the full week and “Daily Members” joining for single-day sessions. Despite physical space limits, this approach boosted overall attendance by 40%, achieving a milestone of 107 participating creators.

Additionally, the Camp hosted pop-up “Music Salons” moderated by Camp Director Eriky LEE. These interactive sessions offered valuable industry insights and sparked lively discussions, fostering deeper connections among participants.

To ensure creators had access to world-class resources, MÜST partnered once again with Lights Up Studio and 14 professional audio equipment distributors. Under tight deadlines, Lights Up Studio completed the final mastering for all 55 tracks, ensuring every piece was presented at its absolute highest quality during the final listening presentation.

MÜST extends its sincere gratitude to the Bureau of Audiovisual and Music Industry Development (BAMID), Ministry of Culture, for funding this event, as well as the Intellectual Property Office (TIPO) for its guidance. Special thanks go to the French Office in Taipei (Bureau Français de Taipei) and the Centre National de la Musique (CNM) for promoting the Camp to French creators, as well as natural fragrance brand Inzense for its generous sponsorship.

The 2026 MÜST International Songwriting Camp has officially concluded, and the resulting catalog of 55 outstanding tracks is now available. Record labels, publishers, and industry partners are invited to contact MÜST to request demos and explore commercial release opportunities.
