Austin City Limits and Spotify Announce Collaboration
The lineup for the 2026 Austin City Limits Music Festival has been announced, and a new experience has been launched within the Spotify application to coincide with the event. The feature is intended to help users explore the festival’s artists and identify performances of interest.
The application experience analyzes a user’s listening habits in relation to the festival’s artist roster. Based on this analysis, users are categorized into one of several “festival personas,” including The Seeker, The Crowd Favorite, and The Wristband Veteran. Users can share their assigned persona through custom social media graphics.
The application also generates a personalized playlist for each user, combining tracks from artists the user frequently listens to who are performing at the festival with music from other artists on the lineup.
The Austin City Limits Music Festival experience is currently available within the Spotify application.
