South African Singer Zee Nxumalo on Forbes Africa 30 Under 30

Zee Nxumalo, the South African singer behind hits like ‘Ngisakuthanda’ and ‘Mamma’, has been included in the latest Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 list.

South African singer South African singer Zee Nxumalo has been named to the latest Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 list, recognising her growing footprint across music and entertainment.

The 23-year-old artist has built a catalogue that includes tracks such as ‘Mamma’, ‘Awe Mah’, ‘Ngisakuthanda’, ‘Guqa’, ‘Thula Mabota’ and ‘Funk 55’. Her music has accumulated more than 300 million streams across radio and digital platforms.

Several singles have received official sales certifications:

  • ‘Ngisakuthanda’ – triple platinum
  • ‘Mamma’ – double platinum
  • ‘Thula Mabota’ – platinum

Nxumalo has also secured endorsement and partnership agreements with major brands, including NIVEA, PUMA, KFC, McDonald’s, Heineken and Nickelodeon. Her combined social media following exceeds five million followers.

The Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 list spotlights young entrepreneurs, innovators, creatives and business leaders from across the continent who have made notable contributions before the age of 30. Nxumalo’s inclusion follows the release of her EPs Inja Ye Game and Izinja Zam.
