South African amapiano producer and DJ Major Keys has released a new 17-track album titled Redemption, led by the focus single “Manje Clean” featuring Cowboii and Yuppe.
The project, now available on digital streaming platforms (DSPs), draws on themes of resilience, gratitude, and self-belief, shaped by the artist’s personal and professional journey. Hailing from Lebowakgomo in Limpopo, Major Keys describes the album as a reflection of perseverance.
“The journey to Redemption hasn’t been easy,” Major Keys said. “There were long nights, moments of doubt, and setbacks that felt like they might stop the music entirely. But looking back, I realise every single step, every failure and every lesson, was absolutely necessary to get here. This album is a testament to resilience and the refusal to quit. It’s my comeback, my sound, and my truth. Thank you for staying down with me through it all. The wait is finally over.”
The focus single “Manje Clean” pairs log-driven amapiano production with vocal performances from Cowboii and Yuppe, capturing a celebratory tone that runs throughout the record.
Major Keys has previously gained recognition for tracks such as “Forever Yena,” “Cina,” “Umona,” “ISGQOKO,” and “Impilo Inzima.” Redemption builds on that catalogue while offering a more introspective look at his growth as a producer.
The album is out now across all major streaming services.
