Indira Paganotto brought metal to the Tomorrowland 2026 Mainstage, performing a new track alongside Harald Barrett, guitarist of Swedish metalcore band Imminence.
The pair debuted a collaboration written in just three weeks, with Barrett playing electric guitar and employing his signature violin bow technique. They met in person for the first time on Thursday and held a single rehearsal at their hotel before taking the stage.
Paganotto described the hybrid sound as “psy-metal” during an appearance on Tomorrowland’s One World Radio, merging her driving psy-techno drums with Barrett’s metal riffs.
The Spanish artist, a resident at Hï Ibiza, recently released another joint single, ‘DREAM’, with Dutch-Moroccan vocalist El Karima on her ARTCORE imprint and Tomorrowland Music.
Reflecting on hosting her ARTCORE stage at the festival for a second consecutive year, Paganotto said: “I started with Charlotte de Witte, playing for her like five years ago here on the same stage. So for me it’s really emotional. Even if I believed in my sound, I never thought that something so big and majestic like Tomorrowland [would] give me this opportunity to make my own stage.”
