Spotify has released an exclusive concert film, “M$NEY Live in London (Spotify Live)”, documenting Asake’s performance at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, marking the first time an Afrobeats artist has headlined the historic London venue.
Filmed during a one-night-only, invite-only event for nearly 2,000 fans, the production captures the Nigerian superstar performing tracks from his album “M$NEY” alongside four previously unreleased songs.
The performance was backed by a live orchestra, a 40-piece choir, and the live band The Compozers. It is the first full-length live album performance film released by Spotify.
An audio-only live album of the concert is also available on the platform, offering an immersive experience ahead of Asake’s upcoming “M$NEY” tour.
