A new documentary offers a behind-the-scenes look at Fred again..‘s USB002 tour, focusing on the final show in Mexico City.
Titled Behind The Sound, the 20-minute film was created by Mexico-based filmmaker and YouTuber Gawx. It follows the producer and his team in the days leading up to the 12 December 2025 performance at Expo Santa Fe, capturing their arrival, preparations, and the concert itself.
Fred again.. shared the documentary on Instagram stories, writing: “I’m honoured that the great @gawx_ art has made this film about the time we had in Mexico. He followed me and the latin mafia guys for that week and has made this incredible document of that time that i’m really happy exists.” He added, “If you don’t know his work, check this out because he’s genuinely incredible.”
The USB002 tour spanned 21 dates across 10 cities. Following the Mexico City finale, Fred again.. staged residency shows in New York and London earlier this year, performing alongside artists including Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter, Skrillex, Four Tet, and Floating Points.
Last month, the producer announced his first-ever shows in India, later confirming two additional dates on the tour.
In May, another documentary chronicling 24 hours with Fred again.. in Vancouver during the USB002 tour was released by Sydney-based creator and “professional music fan” Derrick Gee.
Fred again.. also recently provided the soundtrack for the Dior menswear show at Paris Fashion Week, which featured unreleased music.
