A new version of PinkPantheress’ 2021 track “Break It Off” featuring a fresh verse from grime MC JME appeared on his Man Better Know YouTube channel on Sunday, August 2.
The untitled upload layers JME’s vocal over the original Adam F-sampling production. There has been no official announcement regarding a wider release. “Break It Off” first appeared on PinkPantheress’ debut mixtape to hell with it and became one of the project’s standout cuts.
The upload arrives during a period of notable activity for both artists. JME was among the guests who joined Fred again.. on stage during his USB002 residency at Alexandra Palace in February. PinkPantheress’ recent milestones include:
- Becoming the first woman and youngest artist to win the BRITs Producer of the Year award, for her 2025 release fancy that.
- Collaborating with Four Tet on the “Illegal” remix and with MJ Cole on a rework of “Still Sincere.”
- Two-time Olympic gold medalist Alysa Liu performed to PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson’s remix of “Stateside” at the 2026 Olympic figure skating gala in Milan.
- She is set to make her acting debut next year in an untitled feature film from directors Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, alongside Matt Damon, Sandra Oh, Charles Melton, and Michael Gandolfini.
