Live Nation Expands Its Presence in Greece via New Partnership

Live Nation is increasing its involvement in the Greek music market with an investment in High Priority Promotions (HPP), a concert promoter based in Athens.

HPP is a leading concert promoter in Greece and has previously collaborated with Live Nation on events in the country.

Recent concerts featuring Metallica and Iron Maiden demonstrated growing interest in Greece as a destination for concert tourism.

The investment is intended to strengthen Live Nation’s position in the region, following data indicating strong demand for live music experiences among Greek audiences.

According to research conducted by Live Nation, 45% of Greek concert attendees travel to other cities or towns to attend shows.

The research also indicated that 40% of Greek concertgoers feel there are insufficient concerts held in their local area, and 46% believe there is a lack of suitable venues.

Kostas Thelouras, Managing Director, and Nana Trandou, Co-Founder, at High Priority Promotions stated, “Joining Live Nation Entertainment marks an exciting new chapter for both HPP and the live entertainment industry in Greece. Together, we look forward to bringing more world-class artists, larger productions, and even more live experiences to local audiences, while continuing to strengthen Greece’s position as a key destination for international touring.”
