The National Independent Talent Organization (NITO) has re-elected Wayne Forte as its President, the trade group announced, alongside a slate of officers that includes a new Vice-President and Secretary. NITO represents independent agents, managers and the artists they work with across the United States.
The newly elected and re-appointed officers are:
- Wayne Forte of Entourage Talent Associates, re-elected President
- Nelly Neben of Axis Artist Management, reappointed Treasurer
- Stormy Shepherd of Leave Home Booking, newly elected Vice-President
- Amy Butterer of outer/most, elected Secretary
The officers will lead the recently elected NITO Board, which includes Adam Bauer of Dynamic Talent International.
In a statement, Forte said:
“I congratulate my fellow officers and thank the Board for the vote of confidence to lead NITO for another term. We’ve made great strides strengthening our organization, advocating for our members and their artists, and fighting for fairness in industry practices, reasonable ticketing fees and resale, performing rights, data sharing and more. But there is so much more to do. I cannot recall a more crucial time for the entire independent live industry, and NITO will work tirelessly to make a difference.”
