Spotify has published a set of streaming milestones for Atif Aslam ahead of the release of his fourth solo album, Subah Aye Na, this Friday, his first solo full-length in 19 years.
Aslam has generated close to 8 billion streams on the service, with his songs appearing on over 37.5 million user-created playlists. Since Spotify entered Pakistan in 2021, he ranks as the second-most streamed artist in the market, trailing only rapper Talha Anjum.
International listening drives 96% of his streams, spanning 183 countries outside Pakistan. Spotify withheld country-specific data for India, pointing to the sensitive political context between the two nations, though India is widely considered the largest single source of his overseas audience. His top streaming cities are Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru.
Aslam currently holds more than 30 million monthly listeners, placing him at No. 201 globally on Spotify. His Bollywood catalog remains a major draw: ten of his songs feature on Spotify’s Top Songs chart for India this week, with “Tere Liye” from the 2010 film Prince recently climbing into the top 10.
