RARE Entity, the culture-focused venture group co-founded by Eurythmics guitarist Dave Stewart, has appointed artist manager and entrepreneur Vicky Dowdall as Partner, Business Development.
Dowdall will lead business development, working alongside creators, founders, rights holders and strategic partners to transform ideas and intellectual property into sustainable businesses.
She is the longtime manager of Scottish singer-songwriter Nina Nesbitt and has guided the careers of Ella Henderson, Cody Frost and Olivia Sebastianelli. Dowdall also co-founded the independent label Apple Tree Records with Nesbitt and serves on the board of the Music Managers Forum.
“Throughout my career I’ve always been drawn to building, whether that’s careers, businesses or partnerships that create long-term value,” Dowdall said. “RARE Entity has an ambitious vision for how world-class IP can evolve beyond traditional models, and I’m excited to work with such an inspiring team to help creators unlock new opportunities and build businesses with lasting impact.”
