RARE Entity, the venture group founded by Eurythmics guitarist Dave Stewart, has acquired a strategic stake in Lounges.tv, a livestreaming platform that pays creators 80% of their streaming income and delivers payouts within 24 hours.
Launched in 2020 by Scott Green, Lounges.tv operates across music, entertainment, comedy, fitness, podcasting and digital culture. Its existing backers include Simon Cowell, BBC iPlayer creator Ben Lavender, and Prince’s former manager Kiran Sharma.
The partnership aims to broaden access to live entertainment through premium livestreaming, enhanced fan engagement features, and monetization tools that allow artists to earn revenue from both live and on-demand content.
“Live music and live experiences have become inaccessible for too many people. Ticket prices continue to rise, venues sell out instantly, and incredible fans around the world are excluded from moments they care deeply about. What excites us about Lounges.tv is that it expands access without compromising the experience. Artists can reach global audiences directly, create new revenue streams, and retain more control over their work and their communities.”
