Elaine has reunited with amapiano duo Major League DJz for the new single ‘One More Dance’, a track that merges R&B vocals with Afro-electronic production. The song, released alongside an official music video, features additional production from Atmos Blaq and Mpho.wav.
Built on synth-led melodies and club-ready rhythms, the single captures the desire to extend a perfect night. “One More Dance hits different,” Elaine said. “It’s that feeling when the night is perfect and you already know you’re going to miss it before it’s even over. We wanted to bottle that emotion into a record. It’s about not wanting a good thing to end, and I think everyone can relate to that.”
The collaboration follows Elaine’s recent move into dance music, including a feature on Skyla Tylaa’s ‘Vele Uyena’ with JAZZWRLD and Thukuthela. She and Major League DJz previously worked together on the 2023 single ‘All Night Long’ featuring Yumbs, which reached No. 1 on South Africa’s national radio airplay chart according to Radiomonitor.
Born Ndivhuwo Elaine Mukheli in Pretoria, the singer gained prominence with her debut project Elements. The platinum-certified release became the first independently released album by a female artist to top Apple Music’s Sub-Saharan Africa chart. Her international profile has since grown: she opened for Chris Brown during his 2024 South African tour, appeared on the covers of Glamour South Africa and GQ South Africa Digital, and represented African creativity at Mugler’s New York Fashion Week launch.
On ‘One More Dance’, Elaine continues to expand her sonic range, bringing her vocal-led approach to a dance-floor production while retaining the emotional core of her earlier work.
