KATSEYE hosted an immersive listening event for their forthcoming EP WILD at Elsewhere in Brooklyn on Tuesday, drawing more than 400 fans, known as EYEKONS.

The event, presented by Spotify, transformed the venue into KLUB KATSEYE for the night, featuring interactive experiences and a live performance. The setlist included “PINKY UP,” “Animal,” and the live debut of “That Way,” followed by fan favorites “Gnarly” and “Gabriela,” which prompted a full-room sing-along.

In an interview, the group shared the tracks that shaped the EP’s sound:

  • “Feel It Still” by Portugal. The Man
  • “Never Be the Same” by Camila Cabello
  • “Don’t Cha” by The Pussycat Dolls

They also cited Britney Spears’ “I’m a Slave 4 U” as a key influence on the music video for “Hootie Frutti.” When asked which song best represents their artistic evolution, the members pointed to “That Way.”

KATSEYE’s new EP WILD is set for release on August 14 and is available for pre-save. Live performance videos from the event will be available on Spotify later this month.
