Spotify and fashion resale platform Depop have launched a cross-platform collaboration linking music discovery with second-hand style, anchored by a two-day live event in Los Angeles.
Six artists have each curated personal wardrobe collections on Depop: Eve, Amira Elfeky, Estevie, Frost Children, House of Protection and Lily Meola. Shoppers can browse the artist storefronts, explore the curated edits and move between discovering new music and fashion finds.
A co-branded editorial playlist on Spotify serves as an audio companion to the collections, alongside additional artist content and in-app experiences.
The partnership will be marked by a two-day activation on August 13 and 14 at the Hollywood Premiere Motel on Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles. Attendees can experience live performances, interactive genre-inspired closets and curated fashion edits.
Matt Luhks, Senior Director, Global Marketing at Spotify, said:
“We’re excited to spotlight six incredible artists through this partnership with Depop. We hope to give fans a deeper look at the styles and sounds that shape their perspective as artists. Many of the artists contributed to an exclusive playlist on Spotify, which is an audio companion to their Depop closets. It lets fans trace the thread between what these artists wear, what they listen to, and how they create.”
