A run of Latin music performances across London this late summer and autumn includes Pambelé, Buena Vista Live, Almanaque and ALA.NI, alongside weekly Cuban late-night shows at Ronnie Scott’s.
Colombia earthquake aid
Information on supporting victims of the Colombian earthquake includes an Instagram initiative channelling aid directly to Choco, the quake’s epicentre and one of Colombia’s poorest departments. That option requires a transfer directly into a Colombian account.
The Colombian Red Cross is also accepting donations; its site is in Spanish but straightforward. A GoFundMe appeal started by a Google employee aims to raise $8,000, with the company pledging to match that amount.
