Audioboom has raised its full-year earnings forecast following what it described as record third-quarter performance across its key financial measures. The global podcast company said revenue growth translated into higher adjusted earnings as it benefited from its fixed-cost structure.
The board now expects adjusted EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation) of at least US$7.7 million for the year ending 31 December 2026.
Audioboom reported the following year-on-year changes for Q3 2026:
- Revenue increased by US$3.5 million.
- Adjusted EBITDA increased by US$1.0 million.
- The incremental margin exceeded 25%.
The company attributed that relationship to high operational gearing: once fixed costs are covered, a large share of additional revenue can contribute to profit.
“The Company is now benefitting from high operational gearing: the US$3.5 million year-on-year increase in Q3 revenue delivered a US$1.0 million increase in adjusted EBITDA, an incremental margin in excess of 25%.”
Audioboom also said its performance for the first nine months of its fiscal year set records across the same key financial measures.
Chief executive Stuart Last said: “We continue to build a sustainable platform that supports independent creators globally.”
Audioboom shares trade on the London Stock Exchange‘s Alternative Investment Market (AIM).
