Primary Wave Music Partners With The Verve Pipe’s Brian Vander Ark

Primary Wave Music has announced a partnership with Brian Vander Ark covering his music publishing and recorded music catalog, while giving The Verve Pipe access to marketing and publishing services.

Vander Ark is the lead singer, guitarist and songwriter of the multi-platinum alternative rock band. The agreement covers his catalog, including songs spanning The Verve Pipe’s repertoire.

The band will gain access to Primary Wave’s marketing team and publishing infrastructure, with services including:

• Digital strategy
• Licensing and synchronization opportunities
• Film and television production

The catalog partnership includes songs from Vander Ark’s more than three-decade music career, including “Colorful,” the top 10 hit “Photograph” and the band’s number one single “The Freshmen.”

Released in 1997, “The Freshmen” was the third single from Villains, The Verve Pipe’s debut album for RCA. It became the band’s breakthrough song.

The single reached number 5 on the Hot 100 and number one on the Mainstream Rock Tracks and Triple A charts.
