Insomniac and Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) will launch Map Point Summit at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas in May 2027. The three-day conference will bring promoters, artists, entrepreneurs and industry professionals together for education and networking focused on electronic music and rave culture.
The summit is scheduled between the two Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) weekends:
- Dusk: May 14-16.
- Dawn: May 21-23.
Insomniac founder and chief executive officer Pasquale Rotella introduced the summit during a keynote conversation with Katie Bain at ADE’s 30th edition. Their discussion addressed the future of rave culture and the need to strengthen the scene’s independent business ecosystem.
The name draws on an early rave practice: attendees would gather at a designated “map point” to receive directions to the party’s location.
Organizers plan to combine ADE’s experience in industry education with Insomniac’s three decades of live dance music events. Programming will include panels, workshops and networking sessions for participants at different career stages.
Registration is open on the event’s website. Further programming, speakers and ticket information are expected in the coming months.
